Place St Roch, Monday afternoon, princesses, pirates, clowns, superheroes, wizards, and mermaids, accompanied by their parents and grandparents, gathered to celebrate the Carnival.
Under a shower of confetti, the residents of the St Roch neighborhood came together. A general confetti battle, musicians, clown shows, jugglers, acrobats, batucada, creative workshops (making masks), and food stalls, the carnival made its way into the neighborhood and took over the public space.
The association of merchants (APIL) and the parents’ association of the area (APE) were present to participate in the festivities.
