After the success of the first edition of the Childhood, Family, and Leisure Fair last year, the second edition, which was supposed to take place this Saturday and Sunday at the Palais des Expositions, will ultimately not occur this year due to the current health situation.
Bad news for families. The second edition of the Childhood, Family, and Leisure Fair in Nice will not take place before September 2021. Let’s look back at the first edition of the fair, which brought joy, good humor, and amusement to both young and old.
What is the Childhood, Family, and Leisure Fair?
When parents are out of ideas, or a problem arises that may concern the family, without a real solution, advice is needed. That is why the Childhood Fair is organized shortly after the school year begins.
It is not about seeing a psychologist or questioning oneself, but about having fun, trying out the proposed activities, discovering the latest trends, and getting valuable tips with the support of professionals and specialists present on site.
In addition to entertainment, stands will be available for visiting families to talk about education and parenting in general.
A few figures from the 2019 fair
Last year, the RécréaNice team organized the first fair dedicated to childhood, family, and leisure. For two days, numerous families came to enjoy the event in good spirits. New encounters, games, activities for everyone— the Côte d’Azur now has its 100% family-oriented fair.
In total, the event counted 8,000 visitors, including 5,000 children, 80 exhibitors and participants, including some iconic figures such as the double Olympic swimming champion Alain Bernard, and Angelina, the winner of “The Voice Kids 2017” and runner-up at the Junior Eurovision 2018.
Beyond the conference stands on education and parenting, animation games were also on the program: pony rides, talent contests, giant obstacle courses, live shows… Plenty to make for an unforgettable family time.
