During the last Children’s Municipal Council, held at the Nice Town Hall on October 12, 2011, the 68 young municipal councilors and their deputies voted to implement projects presented by their peers in each of the four committees.

The following projects were thus chosen:

– “My Environment, My City” Committee: Animated slogan on the cleanliness of the city;
– “Activities and Leisure” Committee: Organization of interschool Olympic games;
– “Health, Solidarity” Committee: Nutritional education;
– “Living in the City” Committee: Blue bicycles for children aged 8 to 13.

As part of the development of the nutritional education project in schools, the Presidents of the four committees and all the municipal councilors of the “Health-Solidarity” Committee will visit the central kitchen in Nice, where more than 80 city agents, under the direction of Chef Ratatouille, participate daily in preparing the 22,000 meals offered in Nice’s cafeterias.
