This competition brings together around one hundred participants from 22 nations across 5 continents. As a reminder, boules sports are practiced worldwide and have over 5 million registered players.
Several disciplines are on the program: the combined/single, single + combined, double, precision shooting, rapid shooting in pairs, and progressive shooting.
Highlights of the competition:
– The draw for these championships will take place on Monday, September 21, 2009, at 9 PM in the presence of the delegation leaders and teams at the Boulodrome Gé Gallarato.
– The opening ceremony of these world championships with the presentation of the teams will be held on Tuesday, September 22 at 2 PM.
– The finals will be on Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26, 2009.
– The closing ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, July 26 at 8:30 PM.
