The City of Nice is calling on you to respond to this project call to take over the management of vegetable gardens. You can apply from December 5, 2022, to January 5, 2023, at 4 PM.
This is an opportunity to be granted the management of a vegetable garden with a bowling activity. This free assignment will take place at the Las Planas vegetable garden, and the deliberation will occur during the City Council meeting in March 2023. This moment will mark the officialization of the garden availability agreement. This initiative is part of a proximity and short supply chain approach, also benefiting from a communication campaign in the neighborhood. It allows residents near the vegetable garden to join and benefit from the available plots. The goal is to be as inventive as possible while remaining realistic.
Characteristics of the Las Planas vegetable garden and bowling area

- Total area: 1,800 m²
- Current number of plots: 10 plots
- Obligation to retain current amateur gardeners on their plots.
- Existing equipment: a chicken coop area, a vegetable garden space, 5 faucets, a perimeter fence, bowling games, and a room with a kitchen and toilets.

You must also refer to the Vegetable Gardens Charter, which the selected association will need to adhere to. This will guide the drafting of the intention to manage and its implementation plan.
