After organizing childcare for the security personnel (National Police, Municipal Police, Air and Border Police, Gendarmerie, Customs, Firefighters…), and for personnel mobilized to maintain essential services (nurseries, youth services, urban transport network, education), and complementing National Education’s efforts to accommodate the children of essential workers managing the health crisis, the City of Nice will offer, starting Monday, April 6th, childcare services for children whose parents work in food retail.

For children aged 3 to 12:

– Impératrice Eugénie Center, St Pierre d’Arène/ Rosa Bonheur Center (schools) – Vallon des Fleurs Center – Jean Macé Center (school).

Each center can accommodate, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., 3 groups of 10 children aged 3 to 12, supervised by 2 facilitators per group. Activities that adhere to health guidelines are implemented, eliminating close proximity between children.

For children aged 0 to 3:

Two nurseries will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., along with childminders: one nursery in the west of the city – one nursery in the east of the city.

On Wednesdays: since teachers are only present on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, the City of Nice will further mobilize its services along with 2 partner associations (Terra Loisir and La Semeuse) and will provide childcare services at 19 sites with a maximum of 30 places each, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Saint-Isidore, Les Oliviers, Nikaia, St Roch, Terra Amata, Vallon des Fleurs, Jules Ferry, Saint-Hélène, Magnolias, IUFM, Impératrice Eugénie, Saint-Pierre d’Arène / Rosa Bonheur, Von Der Wies, Jean Macé, Animanice Ariane, Animanice Gorbella, Paule Essling (Terra Loisirs association), Caucade (Terra Loisirs association), Pierre Merle (La Semeuse association).
