The City of Nice has just been awarded the “City Committed Against AIDS” label. Issued by the association Local Elected Officials Against AIDS (ELCS) chaired by Jean-Luc Romero, this label highlights communities whose actions against the AIDS epidemic are exemplary.
According to Christian Estrosi, mayor of Nice: “I am delighted that the City of Nice has been awarded the City Committed Against AIDS label. This distinction recognizes the innovative and proactive work that is ours. The end of the AIDS epidemic is a great hope, within reach. I intend for Nice to play its full part and be a pioneer in this great fight for life.”
