Around fifty new Chinese students from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis will be welcomed at Nice City Hall by Rudy Salles and Agnés Rampal to wish them a warm welcome to our city and continued success in their studies.
During the day, between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, the Chinese students will take a detailed tour of the city in Chinese.
While they made up only a small fraction of foreign students in France in the mid-1990s, Chinese students are now on the verge of becoming the most represented foreign nationality in our universities. Their presence, usually longer than that of ERASMUS students, can extend from 3 to 9 years and is the source of significant economic benefits in the field of educational services and in terms of consumption (housing, tourism).
