As part of their training, students are also required to organize conferences with the theme of festive public events.

Objectives:

– Develop skills in organizing specific events by benefiting from the experience of professionals.
– Acquire knowledge by organizing “small events.”
– Make contacts for the end-of-year internship.

Targets:

– Communication professionals to lead the conferences.
– Students of the professional degree to benefit from the input of expert professionals in their field.
– Professors of the professional degree to maintain or develop their network of contacts (depending on their availability).

Methods:

– Work in groups of 5 students.
– Responsibilities within the group are clearly defined:

โ€ข Contacts with professionals (contact initiation, agreement, scheduling),

โ€ข Animation (presentation, speech distribution…),

โ€ข Material organization (booking and equipping the room, signage, buffet),

โ€ข Communication (invitations, presentation documents…).

– Resources: equipment from the professional degree and resources allocated for the buffet.

The International Gastronomy Festival of Mougins.

Created in 2006, this festival has become a reference in the world of gastronomy. All culinary trends, from molecular cuisine to traditional cuisine, meet in Mougins.
The 5th edition of Les ร‰toiles de Mougins was dedicated to women chefs. This edition, sponsored by Anne-Sophie Pic, honored talented and exceptional female creators by inviting about twenty women chefs from around the world.
The 5th edition took place from September 10 to 12, 2010, within the village of Mougins.
Over three days, the festival offered seven demonstration areas, some of which were open for free to the public. The public could also taste “Street Food” from world cuisines in the aisles of the Gastronomy Salon.

“Night For Life”, the first night against cancer bringing together numerous musical artists, with the funds donated to partner charitable organizations.

Once a year, Night For Life seeks to unite young people around a large-scale event to raise awareness about the disease and collect funds. All proceeds are donated to partner charitable organizations.

The first edition took place on January 30, 2010, at the arenas of Metz (Lorraine).
Night For Life is establishing itself as THE annual event against cancer among young people and will once again welcome its audience on May 28th.
*Night For Life is a charitable association aiming to raise cancer awareness among young people while funding actions to improve the lives of patients and their families.

Mr. Matthieu Gauthier, Head of Special Organizations at GOOM Radio (France’s first digital radio) and Founding President of the association.
