43 people have died from Covid-19 in France in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 31,459 victims. In total, 4,244 people have been hospitalized over the past seven days, including 675 new patients admitted to intensive care.
1,039 “clusters” or outbreak sites are still active in the territory, including 70 new ones that have been detected in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate of the tests now stands at 6.2%.
The incidence rate in France is, this Wednesday, 94.87 per 100,000 inhabitants. The proportion of Covid patients in hospitals is 19%. In total, 90 departments, including Alpes-Maritimes, are classified as being in a situation of “moderate or high” vulnerability.
