Awards evening last night in Fayence: the sports leaders of the region received from President Ivan Coste-Manière and other involved sports personalities, the prizes and medals in various categories (Ethics and Fair Play; gold medals for volunteers who have served for 20 years; honor medals; Young Volunteer Prize).
It was also an evening of wishes: “The year 2016 must, more than ever, be synonymous with solidarity,” declared President Coste-Manière with his usual flair.
Before addressing the recipients to say: “What better proof of solidarity than volunteer commitment? Today, the sporting world depends on your involvement.”
The toast was made to the Olympic spirit: “A very beautiful year 2016, with Rio in sight and Paris for… 2024.”
The Ethics and Fair Play prize from CROS Côte d’Azur rewards those who have embodied these values, who have worked to promote them, or who have made a significant ethical gesture in sports during the year 2015.
The awardees were: Nohan DUDON and David ROSSI (Côte d’Azur Karate League).
