Hospital workers, retirees, students, and railway workers marched in the streets of Nice in defense of public services.
The gathering at Place Garibaldi was organized by seven public service unions (CGT, FO, FSU, CFTC, Solidaires, FA-FP, and CFE-CGC) to mobilize against the wage freeze and the staff cuts planned by the government.
The railway workers were also particularly vocal against the reform project and especially concerning their status.
