This Monday, Charles Ange Ginésy, President of the Alpes-Maritimes Department, and Michel Dessus, President of the Chamber of Agriculture of Alpes-Maritimes, awarded the department’s winners honored at the 2018 General Agricultural Competition.
This year, eleven producers from our department received 20 medals at the General Agricultural Competition (11 gold, 8 silver, and one bronze).
Created in 1870, this competition aims to reward the best wines and the finest French local products.
These distinctions were achieved as part of the product competitions category of the International Agricultural Show, which takes place each year for the AOC wine, honey, and olive products categories.
The General Agricultural Competition is a unique springboard for candidates who gain additional legitimacy with their profession and the general public.
