From January 9 to 31, 2012, internet users from around the world will be able to vote for their favorite candidate among nine young women selected.
A profile of each will allow visitors to the official carnival website to discover their personality. A clip-interview, filmed at a landmark of the city trying out various sports, and photos taken at the Nice Opera house present them further.
In 2011, more than 16,400 votes were cast globally. The majority were European, with more than 8,800 from France, nearly a thousand from Italy, and from Great Britain or about fifty from Ireland as well as votes from Russia and Sweden.
The participation was also international, with, for example, votes from Argentina, Brazil, Indonesia, and Kenya…, totaling 52 countries. The presentation of the Queen and the two runners-up will take place at the beginning of February. The lucky winner will receive a one-year contract with the Enjoy Models agency, a photo book, and a trip to London for two people with Air France.

Indeed, the voting is on a weekly elimination basis. Each Friday, the candidates with the lowest positions have the opportunity to be supported throughout the weekend.
On Monday, the two lowest-placed candidates leave the competition.
