Lauriano Azinheirinha, Deputy for Education, will welcome English, Irish, and Portuguese students this Tuesday as part of the Comenius project titled “Smart Through Art.”
The aim of this initiative is to share learning methods and exchange cultural and traditional insights from each country.
The students will collaborate on a project to create murals with ceramic tiles representing symbols of the city of Nice. This mural will be placed on the playground wall of the school.
This Tuesday at 9 AM, the group of students from Rothschild 2 school and around fifty students from European schools will gather at the Nice Opera for a convivial moment.
On the program:
Singing “Frère Jacques” in multiple languages and traditional songs by first and second-grade students; Niçoise dance by second-grade students; Performance of “Nissa la Bella,” “My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean,” “La colline aux coralines” by third, fourth, and fifth-grade students; Performance of the European anthem by fifth-grade students.
