Currently dividing his time between his studios in Nice and Pont-Aven, Jean-François Gaulthier draws inspiration from nature and travel. Indeed, he loves to explore different artistic themes and push the boundaries of his creativity, always seeking to express his unique vision of the world through his paintings.

The Career of Jean-François Gaulthier

Born in 1971 into a family of Breton painters, Jean-François Gaulthier was encouraged from a young age to explore his artistic talent. At the age of 18, he took his first steps into the art world by exhibiting his works in a gallery. Since then, his career has continued to flourish, driven by a deep passion for painting.

Jean-François Gaulthier discovered outdoor painting and was introduced to enriching exchanges with other artists about color and light after opening his own studio in Pont-Aven at the age of 25. The artist has participated in numerous art fairs and has exhibited his works in various galleries in France and abroad.
