The extension of the Rives du Loup Natural Park

Latest News

The urban departmental natural park of Rives du Loup spans 52 hectares across the communes of La Colle-sur-Loup, Villeneuve-Loubet, and Cagnes-sur-Mer. The Department wishes to extend this park downstream, thereby allowing a path along the river from La Colle-sur-Loup to the sea.

rives-du-loup.jpg The General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes has undertaken numerous works in these three communes. The most recent developments regarding the expansion zone of the Rives du Loup are on Cagnes-sur-Mer.

A direct road access to the Tines factory has been created to avoid crossing the park. Forestry safety works have been initiated and benches and tables installed. The catchment fields have been protected, and more than 35,000 mยฒ of meadows have been mowed. A parking area has also been created at the site entrance.

With an area dedicated to equestrian activities, a pedestrian path extended to the Moulin du Loup, as well as the transformation of an old route crossing the park into a natural trail, pedestrians, cyclists, and horse riders will be able to enjoy beautiful walks.
We count on your presence and thank you for the attention you will give to this inauguration.
