Starting last night, the faรงade of the Gare du Sud was illuminated by the international artist Gaspare Di Caro.
This genuine luminous performance will last throughout the Christmas period and until January 6, 2020.
This project is part of the circuit of lights desired by the Federation of Niรงois Commerce and Artisanal Trades, along with partners Icade, Fayat, Vinci, Gare du Sud, and Casa Becchio.
With the illumination of the Gare du Sud, a significant site in Niรงois life and an architectural witness to the city’s history, this project contributes to the enhancement of Niรงois heritage.
Originally from Antibes, the artist Gaspare Di Caro belongs to the Locative-art movement. His inspirational mindmark* is the spirit of the Ecole de Nice and the Nouveaux Rรฉalistes.
