The volunteers of the association “Les Harley du cœur” gathered around their president Claude Abejan to deliver nearly 350 new toys to the Mediterranean High-Energy Proton Therapy Center in Nice, directed by the Antoine Lacassagne Center, for children who are hospitalized.
Throughout the year, the association organizes events and toy collections for those they affectionately call their little proteges. A portion of the toys collected was placed under the Christmas tree at the healthcare center yesterday, to the delight of the children present, alongside their parents.
Present at the event were Professor Emmanuel Barranger, Director General of the Antoine Lacassagne Center, surrounded by his medical teams, Ms. Andrée Alziari Negre representing Mr. Muselier, President of the Région Sud PACA, a few partners of the association, notably Mr. Franck Paul, Regional Director South of Reynaud company, as well as the children undergoing treatment and their families.
After the thank-yous, everyone gathered around a snack, a privileged moment of exchange, particularly about the projects of the big-hearted bikers, who will be hard at work this Saturday, December 14th at the Leclerc Center Nice Saint Isidore and at the Leclerc Cultural Space in Vence, to continue collecting toys for vulnerable children, ensuring that this year again, no child is without a toy at Christmas.
