The teams from the Severe Brain Injury Care Unit (USCL) at Archet 1 Hospital, part of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at the Nice University Hospital Center, had cared for Formula 1 driver Jules Bianchi, the young champion who passed away.
Following this premature death, his family created their own association called “Jules Bianchi” and are actively involved on a daily basis to improve the care for patients affected by the same conditions.
The association wanted to make a donation to the department, a shower trolley which was handed over this afternoon.
The shower trolley allows for the hygiene care of bedridden individuals through the use of a shower.
