During this Assembly, Christophe Bosson, General Director of Banque Populaire Méditerranée, presented the results of the 2019 fiscal year. He described the year 2019 as a year of consolidation. Consolidation of commercial performance in a highly competitive banking environment, consolidation of cooperative values with the arrival of 8,500 new members, and consolidation concluded with increased financial results, notably with a significant improvement in productivity due to the favorable evolution of the Net Banking Income, coupled with good control of expenses and risk costs.
Philippe Henri, President of Banque Populaire Méditerranée, continued by presenting the measures currently being implemented in the context of the health crisis, aiming to ensure the safety of employees and clients and to enable service continuity. He particularly highlighted, in numbers and facts, the exceptional mobilization of the networks to support and assist our clients, as well as the regional economy more broadly. He also emphasized the significant efforts of the support functions to accompany this strong mobilization and finally thanked all the bank’s employees for their commitment.
