A preserved jewel of beauty revealing a unique panorama over the Baie des Anges and the harbor of Villefranche-sur-Mer
This park, located at the gates of Nice, offers 31 hectares of greenery overlooking two of the most beautiful azure bays. Owned by the Coastal Conservatory, it has been managed by the General Council since 1988.
The Vinaigrier Olive Grove…
450 olive trees spread over 7.6 hectares are maintained by the Special Work Assistance Establishment of Cantaron (ESAT), which is responsible for the maintenance of the olive trees, harvesting, olive oil production, and bottling. ESAT produced 180 bottles of extra virgin olive oil in 2011/2012.
The opening of the linking path with the upper part of the park, the creation of the upper Vinaigrier parking lot, as well as a birdwatching observatory are already awaiting walkers and visitors. Many facilities are under development and are scheduled to be completed during the fall of 2012.
