Swimming, Canoe Kayak, Gymnastics, and Handball, the diversity of disciplines in which athletes Yannick Agnel, Camille Muffat, Emilie Fer, Clément Lefert, Hamilton Sabot, Charlotte Bonnet, Margaux Farrell, Alain Bernard, William Accambray, Xavier Barachet, Dadoua Karaboué excelled, thus demonstrating the richness of sports from the Côte d’Azur.
The General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes, beyond the support it provides to clubs, events, and sports facilities, has aimed to financially assist the athletes from the Côte d’Azur and their training clubs in the preparation for the Olympics by establishing Team 06 General Council.
As soon as the Paralympic Games, for which four athletes from the Côte d’Azur are engaged, conclude, a ceremony will be organized to reward the medalists. The General Council awards €5,000 for gold, €3,000 for silver, and €2,500 for bronze.
