This Thursday, Mr. Eric Ciotti, Deputy, President of the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, and Mr. Michel Dessus, President of the Chamber of Agriculture of Alpes-Maritimes, will sign the agreement concerning the departmental agricultural program at the reception held in honor of the award winners of the General Agricultural Competition.
A partnership confirmed in 2013 to develop agriculture in Alpes-Maritimes
The departmental agricultural program developed by the Chamber of Agriculture is supported by the Department, through an agreement, with an amount of 250,000 euros for the years 2012/2013.
The financial partnership focuses on foresight, innovation, development, and the structuring of the department’s agricultural sectors.
As part of the implementation of its policy in favor of rural development, the departmental assembly has decided, for many years, to support actions undertaken by organizations dedicated to rural development and agricultural animation structures.
The partnership that the Department has with the Chamber of Agriculture aims to promote sustainable rural development and to allow agricultural dynamics and competitiveness within a logic of a comprehensive quality approach.
