The most significant event of this 35th edition is the Granda Flora exhibition: 5,000 m² dedicated to gardening and nursery production, with 26 local companies setting up a genuine green exhibition inside the Fair, aimed at providing the expected 100,000 visitors with a source of inspiration for creating their own gardens.
La Grande Foire d’Été has experienced undeniable growth over the past 35 years. Originally intended as an event to promote the province of Cuneo’s excellent products, the GFE has gradually transformed into a national fair, an event bringing together exhibitors and visitors from all over North-West Italy and the transborder region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
For proof, the renewed presence for the 4th consecutive year of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Nice, presenting an area dedicated to the Côte d’Azur with the participation of the Tourism Offices of Nice, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Grasse, Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Vence, and Villefranche-sur-Mer, as well as the Chamber of Crafts and the Artisan Work from the Alpes Maritimes, showcasing a sampling of French artisanal products.
A total space of 50 m² devoted to the region, to promote tourism and more broadly, the economy of southeastern France.
The participation is part of the activities led by the Italian Chamber of Commerce, with the objective of consolidating and increasing economic and cultural relations between the two countries, focusing particularly on the potential for mutual exchanges offered by the proximity of the two areas, and thus maintaining a lively and constant Italian tourist presence, especially from neighboring Piedmont, on the French coast.
