The Grimaldi Forum has adopted an Environmental Management System, which enabled it to obtain the ISO 14 001:2004 Certification in October 2008. Thanks to the favorable structure of its building and its concrete actions to limit the ecological footprint of its activity, the Grimaldi Forum is recognized as an “eco-responsible” Convention Center. This means that it incorporates initiatives in its design and management that aim to preserve the environment.
It was therefore only natural that it joined the circle of 55 businesses or associations in the Principality that have signed the Charter of the Young Economic Chamber.
Sylvie Biancheri, General Manager of the Grimaldi Forum, signed this membership under the watchful eye of Virginie Lelarge, Director of the Charter Commission of the Young Chamber, and Guy Caruana, Environment Manager at the Grimaldi Forum.
From now on, it will be incumbent upon the Grimaldi Forum to communicate an annual report of its eco-actions to the Young Chamber’s Commission, just as it is required to do as part of the monitoring of the ISO standard.
