The initial idea is simple: to organize a splendid event with wide outreach, aimed at providing satisfaction for these sick children and disabled individuals by allowing them to create something they will then sell, which the attendees will enjoy, thereby enabling a fundraising effort.
Another goal is to conduct a genuine awareness campaign directed at the general public, while conveying a very simple yet often forgotten message: sick or disabled individuals are also capable of achieving wonderful and good things, and they too put all their heart into it!
Proof!
This event will take place in two stages:
from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM: The preparation phase with pastry Chef Jean-Michel Llorcaโs cooking class, and the preparation of desserts,
from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM: The tasting and selling phase of the desserts, following their creation in the Escoffier space hall, and the opportunity to take a motorcycle ride with the Harley du Cลur.
Named “Cooking Hand in Hand,” this charitable operation calls on generosity and self-giving.
Indeed, able-bodied individuals and sick children and/or individuals with disabilities will cook desserts together under the guidance of the great pastry chef Jean-Michel Llorca.
These pastries will then be sold by them during a tasting session organized immediately afterward at the cultural center Escoffier in Villeneuve Loubet, and the funds thus raised will be used to finance the purchase of medical equipment for the pediatric services of the Antoine Lacassagne center in Nice.
