The president of the Regional Council just announced that the work would only begin in the summer of 2010 and that student intake would only happen in the 2012 school year due to delays he himself acknowledged.
The parents of students, teachers, elected officials, and residents of the Paillons involved for ten years in this essential project for the youth of the valley cannot accept this announcement.

In recent weeks, they have expressed their concern and questioned the regional president regarding what must rightly be called a project blockage. This blockage delayed by at least two months the review of offers from companies bidding for the high school’s construction. Received by the Regional Council on October 21, 2009, they were only reviewed by the tender commission on February 19, 2010.

This requires that the contracts related to the work lots awarded by the tender commission on February 19 and which will be by the one on February 26, particularly the “foundations and structural work” lot, be signed immediately by the president of the Regional Council.
