Founded in 1983, the International Summer University of Nice Sophia Antipolis is a university center for language learning, comprised of a dynamic team of teachers, all graduates from the University. More than 10,800 students have been welcomed since its inception.
During July and August, Nice Sophia Antipolis University hosts nearly 250 foreign students from around the world who wish to improve their knowledge of French as part of the 30th edition of the 2013 International Summer University.
The International Summer University also welcomes students who wish to improve their intermediate-level English skills. Their goal will be to become independent users (B2 of the European framework).
The International Summer University holds the “Quality French as a Foreign Language” label, jointly awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the Ministry of Culture and Communication, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Upon arrival, the students are taken care of by the services of the University Institute of Languages. Over three weeks, they will alternate: classes in the morning, workshops in the early afternoon, followed by cultural and tourist activities in the late afternoon and on weekends.
Indeed, numerous events are organized in the Nice region and surrounding areas to make their language stay in Nice an unforgettable experience.
