For the fourth consecutive year, the Lenval Foundation (a leading institution for pediatric medicine and surgery as well as child and adolescent psychiatry) is launching a campaign targeting taxpayers subject to the ISF*. Residents of the Cรดte d’Azur can channel their generosity to help sick children through this foundation, which has been active for 124 years.
Bernard Lecat, general director of the Lenval Foundation, presented this initiative as follows: “We continue in the tradition of generosity of our founder, Baron Lenval, who was the first patron. Today, our appeal goes out to all those who want to help us in our efforts. We can reassure them about the destination of their donations: in 124 years, there has never been any mismanagement as has unfortunately occurred with other foundations. We are vigilant and transparent.”
Indeed, it is the philanthropic spirit that is at the core of Baron de Lenval’s work and that receives continuous support from everyone. Thanks to donations and legacies (9 million euros between 2006 and 2011), the Lenval facilities have been progressively rebuilt over recent years.
The donations collected for the ISF were primarily allocated to the main project of 2011, the realization of the Marina Picasso Center (Adolescent House), whose new structure spans 800 square meters in the heart of Nice with a total investment of 2.7 million euros.
Other expenses were made for the purchase of equipment and materials.
– The partnership agreement with the Chamber of Independent Patrimony of the Cรดte d’Azur and Corsica
For the second consecutive year, the Chamber of Independent Patrimony will partner with the Lenval Foundation to relay the Lenval Foundation’s ISF campaign to the clientele of its members (about a hundred professional firms).
A commendable commitment that deserves to be highlighted.
