The recent recognition of the island territory as a world heritage site by UNESCO is a great step for the influence of Réunion worldwide; Nice, a sister city, twinned with Saint-Denis of Réunion since 1961, is very pleased to welcome a Réunionese delegation for three days.

Organized as part of the “Ronde des Régions” and the Year of Overseas Territories, the Réunionese village will let you discover from July 29 to 31 the multiple facets of the Indian Ocean jewel through its culture, traditions, exceptional biodiversity, and exemplary art of living together.

Come live to the rhythm of Réunionese music with the Pat’Jaune group while savoring Creole cuisine through culinary demonstrations. Come discover the island’s many attractions through numerous stands presenting:

Flowers, exotic fruits, local condiments, and essential oils,

Rums and punches, fine groceries,

Craftsmanship,

The Piton de la Fournaise volcano and its history,

The history of sugar cane cultivation,

The benefits of thermalism,

Sea turtles,

The island’s spectacular landscapes…
