On Tuesday, August 16 at 7 PM, enjoy Jazz at the Place de Gaulle with the Fred d’Oelsnitz Trio. The pianist will be accompanied by Jean-Marc Jafet on bass and Stéphane Foucher on drums, and together they will perform tracks from the CD: “The Pool Cue and the Piano.”
A brief Blues interlude at the festival with the OC.Brothers, a band heavily influenced by African-American music.
On Wednesday, August 17 at 7 PM, they will perform a repertoire that includes blues standards as well as original compositions.
Nearly at the beginning of the festival, during the second week, Philippe Villa proposed renditions of Michel Legrand’s pieces, reworked and adapted to his style. He will close the 7th edition of the jazz festival by unveiling pieces from his very first CD: “Souffle,” full of melody and elegance.
He will perform on August 18 at 7 PM with Gérard Juan (drums) and Fabrice Bistoni (double bass).
