Deputy Eric Ciotti, President of the Finance Commission of the Departmental Council, and Augusto Verola, counselor in charge of solidarity and integration, took advantage of the end of lockdown to visit the leaders and volunteers who manage the activities situated at the Forum Jorge François. They were welcomed by Father Gil Fiorini and the association’s director, Martin Pourbaix, with whom they discussed activity during the pandemic and the difficulties that arose due to the increase in aid requests stemming from the health and economic crises affecting the most disadvantaged.

The two elected officials confirmed the local government’s economic support for the association and expressed commendable sentiments for its activities.


The association Centre Culturel et Diaconie Saint Pierre d’Arènes (CCDSPDA) is an integration enterprise specialized in the culinary field, through the daily preparation of meals for the Saint Pierre d’Arène solidarity restaurant, created in 2012.
This integration enterprise also contributes to integrating people facing severe employment difficulties and promotes job creation. It is composed of 8 employees, 4 of whom are beneficiaries of the RSA (Revenu de Solidarité Active).

Presided over by Father Gil Florini, the primary goal of the CCDSPDA association is to provide nearly 100 meals a day, some of which are offered to the most disadvantaged.

Very active in associative and cultural activities, the Forum Jorge François is a gathering space, a place of exchange, a true living space by and for the inhabitants.

The Forum Jorge François is a cultural and social space in the heart of Nice. This living space was designed to foster meetings and exchanges through numerous activities. The goal is to effectively and enjoyably implement solidarity and thus promote true social and generational diversity.
