The Nice Imperial Lions Club brought a little ray of sunshine to Lenval Hospital for sick children on October 20, 2011.
Following the cake festival on September 25, 2011, in the park of the restaurant La Bastide Saint Antoine in Grasse, organized by Chef Jacques Chibois, a competition was held by the pastry chefs of the restaurant industry in association with the Nice Imperial Lions Club. During this event, a mock check for 1000 euros was unofficially presented to the representative of the Director of Lenval Hospital by the President of APRECA, Christophe Niel, and the President of the Nice Imperial Lions Club, Michel Lefèvre, in the presence of three club members: Jacques Blutteau, Charley Sanigou-Calliati, and Joseph Le bris.
The official handover of the one thousand euro check took place on Thursday, October 20, to the director of Lenval Hospital, Bernard LECAS, Mrs. Dorringtong, head of the children’s department, and Mrs. Bosio by President Christophe NIEL, members of APRECA, and the President of the Nice Imperial Lions Club, Michel Lefèvre, in the presence of members Charley Sanigou-Cailliati, Antony Verhoeven, Joseph Lebris and Vivianne Costa, president of the Lions Club Nice Saleya.
Members of APRECA, “Association Pâtissiers Restaurants Côte Azur,” prepared and offered a snack to more than 100 sick children.

This amount will be used for the refurbishment of the playroom.
