On the theme “Tools in Madness,” students from Louis Pasteur High School in Nice received the bronze clap on Thursday in the competition “I Film the Job That I Like.” The aim was to share their vision of professions, the economic world, and professional life.
More than 1,400 projects were in the competition. This contest was an opportunity for them to share their vision of professions, the economic world, and professional life. It was supported by the Minister of National Education, Higher Education and Research, and the Minister of Labor, Employment, Social Dialogue and Vocational Training.
3-Minute Video Film
With the help of their teacher (this year 3,256 teachers participated), the students worked together to create a 3-minute video film. Writing the script, filming, editing, and mixingโthey had to master all stages of video film production.
This approach encouraged them to be proactive, to seek the professionals and companies that would welcome them for their script realization, and to discover a professional world in the field. They took the opportunity to work in “project mode” over an entire school year, while meeting various objectives (in terms of deadlines, deliverables…).
Here is the award-winning film from Pasteur High School in Nice. The students were supervised by their applied arts teacher Marion Duprรฉ.
