Announced as canceled last April, the festive event on the French Riviera returns starting July 9 for seven dates on the terrace of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.
Get your costumes ready! This Sunday, July 9, marks the opening of the ball for the craziest among you. Glitz and glitter are a must for this first date of the summer season. The tone is set: “Be glittery, dazzling, and sparkling like a thousand fires, for this first Gala Ball full of stardust.”
The Bal des Fous announces a grand return after bad news shared by the organizers on April 30 on their social media. Indeed, it was “with deep sadness” that, lacking a producer, they had announced that the costume ball “a symbol of freedom and creativity” couldn’t happen this summer.
A turn of events, on Friday, June 30, the organizers found a solution. The 2023 edition of the Bal des Fous will indeed take place. The promise of “a passionate show, mixing laughter and emotions” is renewed.
From July 9 to August 27 : seven occasions to party
Revealed during the night of July 3 to 4, the festival’s program includes a total of seven dates, seven opportunities to party from July 9 to August 27. Each date is associated with a theme. A theme implies a dress code. The rules of the game haven’t changed, festival-goers with the best costumes will be the first to enter. The event remains free.
However, the fast passes introduced last year are also making a comeback. These €30 tickets, available in limited quantities for each ball, serve as a priority pass. Note that the festivities start at 4 PM and continue until 11 PM on the terrace of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. Reservations are now open at 06 11 91 69 99.
