This summer, prepare to experience unforgettable evenings at the Villa and Gardens of Ephrussi de Rothschild. On Monday and Tuesday evenings, from July 3 to August 22, the villa will open its doors from 8 PM to welcome visitors into a magical atmosphere. The 2023 Nocturnes, inspired by Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild, promise a program rich in emotions and artistic encounters.
Throughout the summer, you will have the opportunity to discover beautiful performances by interpreters during these evening events. A joyful and diverse program awaits you in this true haven of beauty and culture, where music, dance, and words come together to create magical moments. The visit to the villa will also be possible up until midnight.
The Nocturnes pay tribute to the legendary parties of Baroness Ephrussi de Rothschild, which attracted the international jet set and renowned artists to the Riviera. Gaming tables, fragrant strolls in the gardens, the spirit of diversity and mingling was very much present. Thus, this year’s Nocturnes seek to revive the spirit of celebration and discovery that once reigned.
During these evenings, a wine and champagne bar will be open until 11 PM in the French gardens. You will have the opportunity to enjoy gourmet baskets composed of a gazpacho, a mixed salad, and a dessert of your choice.
Moreover, the villa’s restaurant, usually open only during the day, will exceptionally be open in the evening during the Nocturnes. The Jardin de Sèvres, with its breathtaking view of the Bay of Villefranche, will offer you a unique culinary experience. Under the orange and olive trees, Chef Aude Romero will prepare an intimate and refined three-course dinner, including a glass of champagne. Note that the performance will not be visible from the Jardin de Sèvres. To ensure you can fully enjoy the second set of the performance from 10 PM, a unique service will be offered at 8 PM.
