Inaugurated this morning by Alain Chateauneuf, President of the Regional Court of Nice and President of the Departmental Council for Access to Law of the Alpes-Maritimes, Jean-Michel Prรชtre, Public Prosecutor, and Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, President of the Nice Cรดte dโ€™Azur Metropolis, and Deputy President of the Provence-Alpes-Cรดte dโ€™Azur region, will inaugurate this local center aimed at bringing justice closer to the citizens.

The Maison de Justice et du Droit de Nice, located in the heart of the iconic Ariane neighborhood, offers a local judicial service.

Open to all citizens seeking information or advice about their rights and obligations, its objective is to promote access to the law and assistance for victims, to contribute to the prevention of delinquency, and to optimize intercommunal partnerships with the goal of strengthening the connections between public services and citizens. All interventions are free and confidential.

As a driving force for peace and dialogue, the Maison de Justice et du Droit de Nice is placed under the joint authority of the President of the Regional Court and the Public Prosecutor, and is administratively co-managed by the Regional Court of Nice and the City of Nice.

Judges, lawyers, jurists, elected officials, associations, and social workers collaborate there in partnership, prioritizing conciliation and mediation in case of disputes.
