The Martial Arts Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary in Nice.

Recognized as one of the most prestigious in France, the 10th International Martial Arts Festival of Nice will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2006, at 8:30 PM, at Leyrit Hall. Organized by the Essor Riviera Karate Association with the collaboration of the city of Nice, the International Martial Arts Festival gathers over 2500 spectators in one evening.

On the occasion of this 10th Festival, an exceptional lineup of athletes will be assembled around Christophe Pinna, the world’s most titled karateka. This spectacular show will feature world, European, and French champions in the following disciplines: Kung fu (Hoang Nghi), Sambo (C.Bruzat), Capoeira (Francisco, Buiu), Chinese Boxing, Sanda (E.Matongo), Pankido (P.Lombardo’s school), Artistic Karate (Team Kerston), Traditional Karate (P.Delarue, Nice Elite, Essor Riviera Karaté), Full Contact (M.Greco), Viet vo dao (M.Martin, J-L.Moni), Kiukushinkai (P.Vaulerin), Mumumkaî (M.Regnaut), Self Defense (E.Benhamou), Qwan ki do (E.Vargas), etc.

Breathtaking demonstrations of fights, acrobatics, breakings, and choreographies worthy of the Bercy festival where these champions have almost all performed, will be presented during this unmissable evening that is aimed at both practitioners and the uninitiated.
