Cinema with the “Art and Essay” label, the Mercury Cinema in Nice will offer the 1st German Film Week from Monday, September 28th to Saturday, October 3rd, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Tuesday, September 29th: “Yella” (88 min, 2007) by Christian Petzold.
Wednesday, September 30th, 2009: “Grave Decisions” (102 min, 2006) by Marcus H. Rosenmüller.
Thursday, October 1st: “Nikolaikirche” (133 min, 1995) by Frank Beyer.
Friday, October 2nd: “In July” (100 min, 2000) by Fatih Akin with a debate at 8:30 PM with the association “Cinemas Without Borders” (CSF).
Saturday, October 3rd, 2009: Closing with “Berlin is in Germany” (90 min, 2001) by Hannes Stöhr.
