Discovered in 1996 during the Eurovision in Dublin, “Lord of the Dance” is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. After astonishing the audience at the Oscars ceremony in 1997, their tours have allowed the entire world to rediscover Celtic music and the history of the Irish people. Led by the talented Michael Flatley, the world’s fastest tap dancer turned choreographer and director, the show’s enormous troupe can today boast having attracted the attention of nearly 25 million spectators from all over the world.

Retracing the story of one of the oldest legends of Irish folklore, “Lord of the Dance” presents a choreography with a clever blend of traditional and modern. Set step by step, these precision geniuses are at the peak of their art.
The thirty-five Irish members of the original troupe have given rise to a company of nearly two hundred dancers, performing a world tour through four different troupes, all having Michael Flatley and his unique style as the artistic director.

After two years of absence, this famous Celtic troupe finally returns for a French tour. Without limits, it will conquer those who have not yet applauded, and will once again satisfy those who have acclaimed it.

Lord of the Dance on the roads of France will make a stop by us, on November 17 at La Palestre in Cannet and on the 18th at Nikaรฏa in Nice, don’t miss this event!
