Last night in the Principality of Monaco, English designer Debbie Wingham literally lit up the audience with the fashion show featuring her ultimate creations and the presentation of the most expensive dress in the world, adorned with black diamonds.
The rooftop pool of the Fairmont Monte Carlo was the perfect setting for English designer Debbie Wingham’s fashion show “Joy of Diamonds”: in partnership with the brand Carol Joy London and its portfolio of distinguished products featuring diamond dust and luxury spas, the designer presented her latest diamond clothing collection last night.
The show featured the designer’s “Diamond clothing collection.” A collection aimed solely at women and crafted from luxurious and lightweight fabrics: silk, satin, chiffon, and crêpe de Chine, materials synonymous with fluidity, transparency, and grace, the signature of Debbie Wingham.
The designer unveiled a collection consisting of 40 pieces; sumptuous swimsuits and breathtaking evening gowns, each more sparkling than the last, sensuously combining transparency and diamonds.
She also presented her first limited edition line of jeans crafted from the world’s finest denim and embedded with authentic diamond buttons, all hand-finished in the UK’s most prestigious factories. Each piece presented by the designer is available for bespoke purchase.
In a glamorous and sparkling setting, Debbie Wingham also showcased for the very first time the most expensive dress in the world, the “final piece” around which the entire show was orchestrated: entirely sewn with black diamonds – more than 3.5 million of these precious stones beautifully showcased on the finest fabric! – the “Black Diamond Dress” is valued at… 4.2 million Euros! A collection clearly targeting the international jet-set represented last night at the Fairmont Monte Carlo, which left the audience starry-eyed.
