The imagery is absolutely marvelous, both bright and radiant, reminding us of the gentle warmth of summer holidays and their nostalgic glow.

We find Omar Sy in the title role, portraying Bakary Diallo, who joins the French army to find his son who was forcibly recruited. A film with a historically engaged narrative and a deeply moving human message. The film was part of the Un Certain Regard selection at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
4. The Survivors by Guillaume Renusson
In this chilling thriller, we follow the daily life of Samuel, isolated in his chalet in the heart of the Italian Alps. He encounters a young Afghan woman, whom he helps to cross the mountains to reach France. Samuel will have to face the dangers of the wild nature and human nature. A gripping film with themes rooted in our time, with a plot that will leave no one indifferent.
5. 16 Years Old by Philippe Lioret
A romance set in the life of two young high school students. Nora and Léo meet at the start of their sophomore year and fall in love with each other.
