1. Furiosa: a Mad Max saga by George Miller
In a dystopian world, while still a young girl, Furiosa is torn from the Green Place. She is captured by a horde of bikers led by the formidable Dementus. As she struggles to survive in the Wasteland, with Immortan Joe, she tries to find her way back home and has only one obsession: vengeance.
2. White Dog by Anaรฏs Barbeau-Lavalette
In 1968 in the United States, Martin Luther King is assassinated and racial hatreds set the country ablaze. Romain Gary and his wife, actress Jean Seberg, living in Los Angeles, take in a stray dog. They realize that this particular dog is trained exclusively to attack Black people: a white dog. The writer, an animal lover, refuses to have it euthanized, risking his relationship with his wife, a civil rights activist.
3. Thunder by Carmen Jaquier
In the summer of 1900, in the heart of a valley in southern Switzerland.
