27 years of career, SINSEMILIA has never made the slightest concession on their way of living, working, on their way of seeing and making music.
If albums like “Résistances” or “Première récolte” are major classics in the history of French reggae, the ultra-popular success of “Tout le Bonheur du Monde” has managed to conquer the general public (double gold record for the album and platinum for the single). This style is often confined to a very targeted audience, to very specific media, a cataloged style supposedly having no place in mainstream media.
Yet SINSEMILIA, with their candor, love for exchange and dialogue, and original style, arrived where no one could have imagined. The group thus becomes a major player that helped popularize reggae in France, introducing it to some and making it accessible to all.
Inspiring dozens of groups since their beginnings, defending shared values and music. Despite success, endless tours, and multiple gold records, the childhood friends from Grenoble have always stayed true to themselves, free thinkers, prioritizing sincerity in all circumstances.
In 2019, they will return after more than a year’s pause, with a new album, a new tour, and a sound that continues to evolve.
