In collaboration with the city of Nice, the National Sports Museum is organizing free guided tours for sports associations and clubs from Nice and the surrounding metropolitan area.
If you are a sports association or a club with headquarters located in Nice or in one of the municipalities of the Nice Côte d’Azur metropolis and want to discover the National Sports Museum, it’s very simple: Just choose one of the dates proposed by the museum (see below) and confirm your attendance via email with Alice Charraix: alice.charraix@museedusport.fr (Maximum two people per club)
You will then receive a confirmation email and can attend this private visit, which includes a welcome breakfast during which the museum will be presented by the Director of Development and Communication, as well as the upcoming European Masters Games Nice 2015. This will be followed by a guided tour and a time for discussion.
On June 27, 2014, the National Sports Museum opened its doors in Nice at the heart of the Allianz Riviera Stadium. Labeled as a “Museum of France,” it houses one of the world’s largest sports collections: over 45,000 objects and 400,000 documents (materials, clothing, accessories, trophies, mascots, posters, paintings, films, photos, archives…) narrate 500 years of sports history. Dedicated to sports in all their diversity, from the most popular to forgotten gems, the museum is for everyone.
