The Regional Prefect has issued a decree defining a new commercial zone in the territory of Nice La Plaine, thereby allowing businesses in the area to open every Sunday.

Indeed, the defined perimeter constitutes a commercial complex with a total sales area exceeding 20,000m², either attracting more than 2 million customers or being located in an urban unit with a population exceeding 100,000 inhabitants. Furthermore, it is equipped with appropriate infrastructure and accessible by both individual and public transportation means.

The perimeter is defined by: to the north, the Chemin de Saint-Roman; to the south, the Traverse de la Digue des Français; to the west, the Boulevard du Mercantour; to the east, the Chemin de Saint-Roman, the path along the eastern part of Leroy-Merlin, the Camin de Bléa, Chemin de la Glacière from 1 to 15, Chemin des Serres, Chemin de a Ginestière, Avenue Sainte-Marguerite, and Traverse des Maraîchers.
