They are healthcare professionals, with Claude being a cardiologist, who know their subject well and have a very clear and evident goal: to prevent deaths by improving emergency responses through the dissemination of defibrillators in public places.

And they have chosen to do so by calling on generosity through their common passion: rock music!

By organizing events, the proceeds of which are intended for the purchase of defibrillators that are distributed to the municipalities of Nice and its region, these rock-loving doctors put their whole heart into saving the hearts of others. What to say except to applaud and encourage them on this path.

For the record, nearly 50,000 sudden deaths occur each year, of which 20,000 could be avoided through the use of defibrillators. Currently, more than 70 defibrillators are installed in Nice in various public places.

The band will perform the track “On a Sunny Afternoon,” which will be available for legal download on digital platforms starting February 18. The proceeds from sales will be donated for the purchase of cardiac defibrillators. Notably, singer and actor Gรฉrard RINALDI, patron of the association 20,000 Lives created by the group, will be in the choir.

Let’s recall that in December 2010, the band donated 10 defibrillators to the City of Nice following their concert at the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure in June, which gathered over a thousand people.

The Low Budget Men have recorded two tracks: “on a sunny afternoon” and “I feel free
” and have shot the video for the first piece.
The Mariottini brothers (Claude on vocals and guitar, and Jean-Pierre on drums) are healthcare professionals, Pierre Mariottini (lead guitar) is a law student, and Stรฉphane Mirc (bass) works in national education. They are hoping that, on this first television appearance, a production company will assist them in their charitable efforts by distributing their CD to a wider audience.

Upcoming concerts: March 11 at La Gaude (La Coupole) and June 23 at the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure in Nice.
