at the C.U.M. Centre Universitaire Universitaire 65, Promenade des Anglais in Nice, on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at 7:30 PM.

It will be led by Professor Alexandre MEINESZ, a lecturer at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (ECOMERS Team). Professor Alexandre MEINESZ is the author of reference works on this subject:
“How Life Began” (Publisher Chicago Press University 2008), “Comment la vie a commencรฉ” (Editions Belin 2008, reissued in 2009).

In the light of fantastic images and educational illustrations, he will reveal the latest discoveries related to life’s traces, with the earliest dating back 3.8 billion years. Focus on three fundamental questions: When? How? Where?

A specialist in marine environments and the first organisms that colonized the earth (algae), he will address the mysteries of life with a novel perspective on life’s evolution, different from that of microbiologists, geneticists, or paleontologists.

Similarly, his presentation will be enriched by his experiences as a curious field man and a nature enthusiast.
