The Nice Tourist Office website is now available in Japanese, Chinese, and Russian.

Latest News

For almost three years, the Nice Tourism Office has been pursuing a policy of renovating its web presence (positioning on social networks, creating dedicated websites, etc.). Initially available in six languages (French, English, Italian, German, Spanish, and Russian), the reference site for tourists is launching its Japanese and Chinese versions.

web.jpgAt the origin of these changes is the web team, who, driven by Denis Zanon, Director of the Nice Tourism and Convention Office (OTCN), are striving day by day to catch up on the delay in e-tourism.

Twelve years after its launch and various evolutions, the site nicetourisme.com experienced its own revolution with a complete overhaul a few months ago. During this extensive project, all its content, functionality, ergonomics, aesthetics, and style were revisited to deliver a new attractive and functional site, although perhaps a bit too colorful for our taste. (probably referencing the Nice Carnival)

At a time when the destination wishes to strengthen its presence in emerging markets, three new languages have been launched online: Russian, Chinese, and Japanese (others are being considered, like Portuguese for Brazil or Arabic) as well as targeted offers for this clientele: honeymoon, shopping, and culture & heritageโ€ฆ

To all this adds a deployment of presence on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and other participatory communication channels that offer increased proximity with the “online” audience.

We now only wish the Nice Tourism Office to soon release its smartphone application.
